Fashionista has uncovered a 1992 issue of now defunct Sassy, a teen magazine started by Jane magazine founder Jane Pratt. And inside the Blossom covered issue was a one page spread all about a 17 year old Chloe Sevigny, then a fashion intern at the magazine.
According to the short interview that accompanied the pictures, Chloe would try any fashion trend, get more then move on. She even shaved her head after the shoot, and talked about her interest in the skater look. Oh and she made her own patchwork hats too, the red one she’s wearing above apparently only took her “about a half hourâ€.
What do you think of the Chloe Sevigny circa 1992?
Do you remember what you were doing in 1992? Check out the full page spread in Sassy here at Fashionista.
Wow. Who would ever have thought that in fifteen short years she’d be most famous for chugging down a hot cup of tot-nog from that freak Vincent Gallo’s diseased kiwis in an otherwise completely unwatchable film?
I’d say she more known for her unfortunate fashion choices… how some things never change!
She looks so cute in those photos. What happened?
OMG, I REMEMBER THIS ISSUE! I THOUGHT HER HATS WERE SO COOL AT THE TIME (I WAS 14) I REMEMBER ATTEMPTING TO MAKE MY OWN…I STILL LOVE HER BROWN MARY JANES! <3 I MISS SASSY.
