So much so that the Australian actress has landed a lucrative contract with Australian cosmetics brand Napoleon Perdis as it’s international face according to The Herald Sun newspaper.
The first of four advertising campaigns will be launched in February. It will depict George as an ethereal Greek goddess and have a tagline telling women to “embrace their inner goddess”.
Perdis will also be her make-up artist for Hollywood events next year.
For Perdis, Melissa George “epitomizes a very glamorous, global beauty that’s natural, clean and fresh but can also glamorize up.” Perdis tells the San Francisco Chronicle.
“But also the everyday woman that comes into our stores epitomizes beauty because each of them have a story to tell and we’re merely here to complete that story … to able to bring out the celebrity in her in our environment by translating, not dictating.” Perdis says as he prepares to open his second store in America in San Francisco.
George in return is just as complimentary towards Perdis. “When I met Napoleon, the man behind the brand, I felt that if I didn’t have him in my life it wouldn’t be the same,” George gushed.
