We live in a world where first impressions are everything. We judge the opposite sex by the first glance (yes, he’s cute – and I wonder if he’s single – or no, unfortunately he’s not). Fickle yes, but it is human nature right? Our first impression of Dunedin, New Zealand was actually of the Southern Alps as the Pacific Blue plane started descending and it was stunning. It was just the perfect time of day where the lighting was just right with light cloud cover. I wish I took more photos but after a lay over and two hour delayed flight from Brisbane I was ready to hit the ground running!
Needless to say I was so happy to see my driver, Bill from Classic Jagular waiting with a smile on his face to whisk me to St Clair Beach Resort where everyone who was attending iD Dunedin Fashion Week (including Zandra Rhodes & Andrew Logan and various TV presenters/reporters who were hosting events) seemed to be staying. We must say the view of the crashing waves from our room window was the best sight for sore eyes.
But no time to dally, there was a fashion show to attend, blogger friends to run into and many more first impressions to be had.
Stay tuned for more!
