So after trawling the web and asking around, I couldn’t find out more information about Miranda Kerr’s skin care line, Kora. As we told you previously, the organic skin care line was to be launched exclusive to Australian department store, David Jones, and is in stores now. Unfortunately with KoraSkinCare.com.au down we only managed to pull together a product line thanks to a trip to David Jones’ Elizabeth Street store in Sydney.
When we walked into their beauty floor, we were greeted with in store displays featuring the Australian model’s face with the elevator doors suffering the same treatment. And of course a display full of aqua blue bottles containing organic beauty concoctions.
Unfortunately we couldn’t test the range with no testers on the shelves and you can forget about price tags on display, so we’re still trying to find out more about the line Kerr reportedly developed over the last three years.
Though she did update her website to add:
“I personally tried all the samples, taking them around the world with me on jobs, everywhere from Sydney to Paris to New York!” Kerr wrote on her website. “I had to be sure they really were true to all the values I believe in.”
If any one who knows more about the Kora skin care line by Miranda Kerr, please share!
UPDATE!

Their products look very similar to the H2O Plus product linethough I am interested in the Rose Hip Oil and what it does.
Maybe the Kora Cosmetics Company got a little testy with Miranda for “borrowing” their name for her line. They do have their own line of Kora that is quite popular.
Miranda “personally tried” all the samples? What happened to she was involved with all aspects of the line for the last 3.5 years?
Serious backtracking going on at DJ’s.
I freaking hate the no-price-tags thing! Don’t they know lots of us are on a budget?
Oh, I see, I have to embarrass myself asking the prices one by one & covering my horror with a nice smile to the assistant…
Miranda is a liar. Her skincare line is NOT 100% organic. One of the listed ingredients in her products is benzyl alcohol. Benzyl alcohol causes cancer and reproductive toxicity. How can this woman claim to be into health and then market a toxic product that causes disease? As usual it all comes down to the money. Miranda doesn’t care if she gives you a disease as long as she rakes in the dough. If you don’t believe me then I suggest you do your research on the ingredients listed in her products. It’s a shame that greed turns people into monsters. “The love of money is the root of all evil.” Very true.
What you can do is save yourself a ton of money and simply buy a jar of organic extra-virgin coconut oil. I use this on my skin, hair and body and it works wonders. A jar will set you back only $8 and will last you well over a year!
Sandra, you need to calm down. Maybe if you did YOUR research, you’d learn that:
Benzyl alcohol is produced naturally by many plants and is commonly found in fruits and teas. It is also found in a variety of essential oils including jasmine, hyacinth, and ylang-ylang, and is used commonly in skin care products for its LOW LEVELS of toxicity. See? Wealthy, beautiful people can have integrity too.
I bought the product for my face, and it seems to work better then most facial cleansers and lotion. Now my skin actually feels softer, looks a bit firmer, and brightned up my face. I think it may have evene out my skin tone as well. I love the product and will continue to use it if the effects last. I guess only time will tell…
@Molly – what about the rest of the toxic ingredients in Kora skin care range? Do you even know what they are? Maybe you don’t care what crap you slap on your face. If you’re unattractive to begin with then maybe it doesn’t really matter, right?
Her products are overpriced garbage. All my money went down the drain. 🙁
@Molly – Hey brainiac! Read this: “Even in small dosages, benzyl alcohol may cause various toxic effects including respiratory failure, very low blood pressure, convulsions, and paralysis.”
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your comments. I’m closing comments on this post because I think everything that needs to be said has been said.
Thank you.
