If you follow us on Instagram, you will have noticed one (of many) things – we love to travel. But what you probably didn’t know is that I love collecting business class amenity kits to see what fashion and beauty collaborations each airline have done. Well now I want to jump on a Qantas plane and sit in business class as two iconic Australian brands, Qantas and Oroton, have teamed up to create the airline’s coveted Business amenity kit.
The limited edition Business Sleep Collection amenity kit features a signature Oroton styled bag paired with exclusive ASPAR products by the cult favourite Aurora Spa in Melbourne. The unisex amenity kit has been designed to hold Qantas’ signature Business pyjamas, eye mask, socks, toothbrush, toothpaste and earplugs comfortably inside.
Qantas International Head of Customer Experience & Creative Development Kylie Morris said the limited edition Oroton amenity kit was timed to celebrate the inaugural flight of the upgraded international A330 from Singapore to Melbourne.
“Our new A330 Business Suites combined with the new exclusive Oroton amenity kits will provide our customers with another luxury experience onboard,” said Ms Morris. “Oroton’s design of the amenity kits are set to make them a sought out item for our fashion focused travellers both onboard and for future travel.
“It’s stylish and functional, and will fit the electronics and travel essentials our Business customers now take with them. Naturally, no overnight flight from Asia would be the same without our signature Business pyjamas,” Ms Morris added.
Oroton GM & Creative Director, Ana Maria Escobar, said she the Oroton team was very excited about the collaboration with Qantas.
“We have come up with a great design that reflects the heritage and attention to detail of two iconic Australian brands,” said Ms Escobar. “The limited edition kit was designed to mirror the Oroton unique aesthetic, especially for the Qantas Business traveller. We hope travellers enjoy the kit and their journey”.
The Qantas Business Sleep Collection will be offered to customers travelling in the Business cabin from today for a limited time on select Qantas international flights from Asia operated by the refurbished A330 aircraft.
So I guess it’s time to book a trip to Asia – funnily enough we have one planned soon – because no matter how many times I have flown Qantas Business Class internationally, I haven’t managed to snag a Qantas PJ set yet.
