Gwyneth Paltrow has been dolling out advice to the internet for a few years now, so when we recieved a press mail out from Max Factor on How To Look Like A Rockstar’s Wife, we thought we’d have a giggle and give it a go. Not that we want a rock star husband, but who doesn’t love an excuse to play with make up?
Included in the kit is Max Factor’s Glossfinity Nail Polish in Burgundy Crush, Colour Effect Flipstick in Boreal Mauve and False Lash Effect mascara. So a quick coat of gloss on our lips, a coat or two of mascara, maybe a dab or two of concealer and some nail polish on our nails later… voila! What do you think of the results? We think we need a bit more black eye liner to be rockstar-worthy but I am in love with the nail polish shade.
We obviously don’t look quite as slick as Gwyneth, but without the photography studio lighting and professional make up artist application, I think we did a pretty good job, proving it’s not too hard to get an effortless done-but-not-over-done make up look.
