The face of Australian retail is about to change all over again with the opening of H&M at Melbourne’s GPO in 2014 and we have the first look at the concept drawings on what the 5,000 square metre store will look like.
Spanning the entire bottom floor and then some of the Melbourne GPO, the first H&M Australia store will be a full concept flagship store showcasing apparel, underwear and accessories for Men, Women, Kids and Baby as well as the Home concept.
To celebrate the Australian launch, a specially designed Australian launch collection “Australia Exclusive”, will also be available exclusively at the store opening in 2014. Taking inspiration from the latest global trends, this unique fashion capsule collection was developed with the Australian lifestyle in mind and features limited pieces of apparel and accessories for both men and women, which will only be available in the new flagship store.
“We are excited our first Australian store will be at such a landmark location as the GPO. We are looking forward to opening our doors to the Australian customers and offering them the H&M shopping experience with fashion and quality at the best price. It will be a unique retail experience and we hope they will enjoy our full concept assortment,” comments Hans Andersson, Country Manager for H&M Australia.
