For many women, their makeup is their security blanket – something that shields their ‘flaws’ from the world. Tomorrow, Priceline together with 30 Days of Fashion & Beauty are asking women to go makeup free for ‘Go Naked Day’ for Look Good… Feel Better, a charity that raises funds and awareness to help improve the wellbeing and confidence of people undergoing treatment for any sort of cancer.
A part of the annual 30 Days of Fashion & Beauty tour, ‘Go Naked’ Day will be celebrated in all Priceline and Priceline Pharmacy stores across the country on September 12, with Sydney’s Martin Place playing host to a spectacular magenta pink beauty playground complete with ‘Pinky’, the mobile beauty parlour semi-trailer.
Those who forgo makeup can visit Martin Place (or any Priceline and Priceline Pharmacy store across the country) across the course of the day for makeovers, manicures, workshops with magazine beauty editors, goody bags, special offers and to meet special guest Jesinta Campbell. We’re looking forward to Glam by Manicare‘s Expert make-up artists applying their latest eyelash collection on people.
Priceline Marketing Director Amanda Connors, said “We would love for all of our fabulous Priceline Sister Club members and women around the country to join us in ‘Go Naked’ Day, raising money for our long-term Priceline Sisterhood charity Look Good… Feel Better.”
“This year is all about playing with beauty, and we couldn’t think of a better way to bring this to life than by painting Martin Place pink and having a special day of makeovers and fun – all for an incredible cause” said Connors.
Donations towards Look Good… Feel Better can be made at any Priceline or Priceline Pharmacy store around the country tomorrow, with mini makeovers also available.
