It’s become a semi regular occurrence that comes around every Paris Fashion Week – a pairing of a fashion brand with Laduree, the French brand synonymous with delicious macaroons. The pairing we can look forward to is with Alber Elbaz and Lanvin(!).
Elbaz designed a box covered with whimsical illustrations of women and inside contain eight pink bubble gum flavoured macaroons created with Laduree pastry chef Vincent Lemains. The Lanvin x Laduree macaroon box set will go on sale on September 25, 2012 in France (just in time for Paris Fashion Week) followed by the UK, USA and Japan on September 28, 2012.
By some miracle, yours truly will be in Paris during Paris Fashion Week so we’ll be picking up one of these beautiful Lanvin x Laduree boxes that are finished with a red grosgrain bow. Out of all the previous collaborations (which include the likes of Christian Louboutin, John Galliano, Marni, Christian Lacroix and Sonia Rykiel) this has got to be our favourite.
