Unless you’ve been living under a rock in Sydney, you will know that Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival Sydney (MBFFS) is just 10 days away (August 21 – 25, 2012) and we wanted to share this fun little video which showcases the fun of a fashion week. Created by the guys at Joy Collective with music by by Aussie garage rock band, Bang! Bang! Rock n Roll, it’s a catchy little campaign video that has us we had the money to buy tickets to all the shows.
Show tickets aside, we were given a sneak peek at the model castings that happened a few weeks ago. With so many leggy and beautiful girls, how does one cast for something like MBFFS? According to Lara Karamian from Lara INC (who is doing the show production for MBFFS):
“A casting for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Sydney is always interesting. We are looking for such a diverse mix of models because there are so many different brands featured across the week. We are looking for a specific type of body model for shows such as Bendonlingerie.com, then need a mix of commercial girls for a brand like Sportscraft and more high fashion girls for the nightly Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia Trends show. We’re always on the look out for new faces and hope to be able to showcase a diverse mix of Australian model talent on the runway this August.”
