Kit Willow has always had a knack for pulling together teams of amazing people to work with and her Spring/Summer 2012 look book shoot was no different with Julia Restoin Roitfeld on board as art director, Boo George as photographer, ex French Vogue Fashion Editor Melanie Huynh as the stylist, renowned hair stylist Sophie Roberts for Tresemme and Lancome’s leading makeup artist Benjamin Rouseau.
“Julia was brought into the project and an art director,” Kit said. “So bringing the star in how she (the model) was standing, sitting, long shot, came from the direction of Julia.”
The shoot was buzzing with activity as all these talented people worked to produce photos that showed off the effortless designs.Called ‘Future Memories’ the Willow collection was inspired by an old picture taken at St Kilda Beach in Melbourne by Kit’s mother when she was 16 years old.
