We loved Zooey Deschanel in 500 Days of Summer (though watching it makes us kind of sad) so when we heard she was going to be a spokesmodel for Rimmel London, we were kind of excited. One of hher first campaign is for their new Lasting Finish Lipstick, which claims to be the beauty equivalent of the little black dress with their 50% longer-wearing colour-boost pigments for up to 25% more
colour impact than traditional lipsticks. With 21 colours to choose from at an affordable RRP of AUD$9.95, we may have to buy one for every occasion.

Now lipstick aside… I know the above image is supposed to be Zooey modelling for Rimmel London, but where’s that lovable kooky gal with a few (tiny) imperfections that made us relate to her a little? I guess she has to have the beautiful lashes, since she’s also the face of their Lash Accelerator mascara, but the girl just doesn’t look like Zooey. Ah the wonder of airbrushing.
