One of these days I’m getting on a plane straight to New York City and heading straight down to Bleeker Street in Greenwich Village particular. First for cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery then to the strip of boutiques home to the likes of Intermix, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors and Cynthia Rowley and so much more. Soon Bleeker Street will be the home of Burberry, with the luxury British brand signing a 10 year lease at 367-369 Bleecker Street with Beck Street Capital last week.
“When preliminarily marketing this space, one of the first tenant names that came to mind was Burberry. We believe that Burberry will utilize this picturesque, perfectly located and extremely unique space to its fullest extent,” said Kevin Comer, Senior Managing Director of Beck Street Capital.
No official word has been released by Burberry, but this would make it the second boutique Burberry has in New York, with a Burberry London store on Madison Avenue.
