Cynthia Rowley is one busy lady, she’s currently got a collaboration with Roxy in stores around the world and news has just broke that she has teamed up with Pampers to create ‘designer’ nappies. Pampers by Cynthia Rowley will see a diaper collection which will be available in 11 styles for boys and girls in and array of pastel designs including madras, stripes and printed ruffles suited specifically to babies and toddlers. “As a mom, I wanted other moms and dads to have more options in every part of their lives – even diapers,” said Rowley. “It’s the first piece of clothing your baby will ever wear, and it should be special.”
Pampers by Cynthia Rowley drops in Target stores and online at Target.com in mid July 2010. It’s interesting to see Rowley continue a 7 year relationship with Target – in 2003 she and her best friend Ilene Rosenzweig created a line of home accessories called Swell, and then in 2008 she created Whim by Cynthia Rowley for Target which did not include apparel but focused on novelty items such as outdoor games and an inflatable pool.
