Launched in 2002 in Australia, Invisible Zinc was relaunched today in London’s Selfridges by Georgia May Jagger and Jerry Hall – presumably as the Australian beauty brand’s newest faces.
Hailing from sunny Australia where sun protection products are a must, Invisible Zinc utilizes the sun protection powers of zinc without the white paint-like look. The mother-daughter modeling pair join Elle Macpherson (who will still be the face of the brand in Australia) as the face of the eight-year-old beauty brand.
Gane Hill were unavailable for comment this evening (and their website still features Macpherson’s image) but if the images on Selfridges Facebook page are anything to go by, we think it’s pretty much a done deal.
Andrea Horwood Bux, founder of Invisible Zinc confirmed to us last night this is the first time the beauty brand has been launched in the UK and Jagger and Hall are their new faces.
This is Jagger’s second beauty role, she was signed on to become a spokesperson for Rimmel London last year. Add to it her recent staring role in Chanel’s resort show and resort 2011 look book shoot as well as the Versace spring/summer 2010 ad campaign, the BFC model of the year is on the up and up – all while she’s trying to finish high school!

not quite right – Elle Macpherson is still the face of the brand in Australia – in fact the new summer campaign images are being shot in London next week. And this is the first time Invisible Zinc has launched outside Australia. Thanks for the story though, lovely pic
Hi Andrea,
Thanks for your input, but according to an AusTrade article from 2006, it says:
ZO1 INVISIBLE ZINC was launched in the UK in April 2005 at Selfridges, Harrods and is currently rolling out in high-end retailers throughout Europe and from April ’06, the USA.

This was obviously not correct. Zo1 was a different brand by a UK company with different products. This is the first time INVISIBLE ZINC has launched outside Australia – I know this because I am the founder of the company. It would be great if you could correct these two points – about Elle still being the face of the brand in australia as well thanks. A
