It seems the scandal regarding Terry Richardson’s mistreatment of young models has died down a little, probably much to Richardson and his employer’s relief. But it hasn’t stopped artist and illustrator aleXandro Palombo long to post up his satirical take on the whole issue, drawing a caricature of Vogue‘s Editor in Chief Anna Wintour topless and being groped by Richardson while she eats an ice cream – much like the famed Rolling Stone cover in which Gossip Girl stars Leighton Meester and Blake Lively were featured licking the same ice cream in a rather suggestive manner.
Palombo writes on his Humur Chic blog:
The point is that in fashion there are too many young and underage models and too many bastards who take advantage of this easy prey. Listen Anna, why don’t you start by setting the example and stop using underage models for Vogue’s photo shoots and maybe you could even portray yourself on the cover…eating a nice ice cream! Stop butchering underage girls…Thank you.
We agree, but the picture is just a bit… graphic. Do we really need to see Anna Wintour sans bra?
Still more than a little creeped out by this story. But the irony is that Wintour and Richardson are on the same side of the groping…
