When Patrick Robinson joined Gap as the head of design he had one plan – to modernize the American brand. It looks like his plan is complete but Gap’s new fragrance Close dubbed as the “last step in the modernisation of Gap”. A product of Robinson, perfumer Givaudan and Interparfums, the floral-musk fragrance is set to drop at Sephora and Gap stores from January 19th (although it is available in its American boutiques already). “Being sexy is one of the facets of life, and I wanted to make that the principal characteristic of this perfume. It should be sexy, sensual and beautiful,” Robinson said about Close. Well time will tell if his modernization plan has worked. [FashionMag]
