I once lamented to Glamour‘s Slave for Fashion blog about the lack of a Miuccia Prada biography (authorised or unauthorised) and it seems that my prayers have been answered with Vita Prada, an unauthorised biography on Miuccia Prada amd her relationship with Patrizio Bertelli released in Italy last year. It’s penned by Italian journalist Gian Luigi Paracchini and looks at how the empire was built. Meanwhile another designer’s career has been documented for a book, former Nina Ricci designer Olivier Theysken has had his relatively short designing career photographed by Julien Claessen and pulled together for a $120 book called Olivier Theyskens: The Other Side of the Picture.
