We saw the Twitter/Twitpic inspired Vogue Italia cover yesterday, well here’s the accompanying editorial in their December 2009 issue staring Abbey Lee Kershaw, Kasia Struss and Karlie Kloss. We still don’t quite understand the editorial; are Vogue Italia and Steven Meisel ridiculing the Twitteratti and our quest for more information and the tendency of celebrities and models revealing too much online?
Either way the Abbey Lee photos make us laugh – in one photo she’s on the toilet while in another she’s topless and crouching in a cupboard looking more than a little manic. Karlie and Kasia’s spreads (below) look a bit ordinary in comparison.
Meanwhile we’re kind of hoping that all the models featured in the “following” page will get a spread, but that would make the MeiselPic editorial 20 pages long which is a little unlikely exactly what he did. Which means this editorial stars a whopping 20 models with Steven Meisel featuring as well.
The 20 models are: Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Kristen McMenamy, Christy Turlington, Jamie Bochert, Sasha Pivovarova, Karen Elson, Gisele Bundchen, Kasia Struss, Agyness Deyn, Sessilee Lopez, Viktoriya Sasnkina, Natalia Vodianova, Anna Selwzneva, Feja Beha Erichsen, Lara Stone, Hanne Gaby, Karlie Kloss, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Natasha Poly.
Quite a line up.
What do you think of the MeiselPic spread?

Hardly groundbreaking was it. ??
