When names like Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz and Kate Hudson are dropped, you immediately think of their stunning beauty. But when you look at the four women on the cover of US Vogue‘s November 2009 issue, you wonder what happened! Especially to Kidman who is sporting very plump red lips.
Did Annie Leibovitz or Vogue go a little airbrush crazy?
The four women are on the promotional trail for their upcoming movie, Nine which stars Daniel Day-Lewis as the famous film director Guido Contini.
Kidman was photographed back in February according to paparazzi shots on Just Jared, but the other three women don’t seem to be present which could explain the strange lighting on each woman’s face. Check out a picture of the full female cast of Nine in a spread from the November 2009 issue of Vogue below.

Lebowitz is not that great of a photographer and if you have to airbrush that much might want to photograph something or someone else
yay! i love annie leibovitz. ive seen her works and i think that she really has an eye for composition. she knows how to deliver the mood and capture the personality of the subject through her pictures..
All four of them look beautiful- not quite “feeling” the scene, meaning they look like they look like they were photoshopped on there), but when they’re all jam-packed onto the cover like that it looks like they’re all trying to hard…except for Penelope Cruz. But again, my personal taste, I don’t like more an even number on a cover. I’m conservative when it comes to the basic elements of design.
Nay. Looks rather unsettling. Are they actually together? What is that smudge in the background? A mountain? Looks squiffy to me.
And, another thing, what is Fergie doing amongst five great actresses?
Sorry, six actresses.
