Late last week Time announced that they were pulling the plug on their quarterly fashion title, Time Style & Design, citing the collapse of the luxury market as its main reason. “This really is a suspended publication,” said a spokeswoman told the New York Post. “We’d hope to bring it back when the economy improves.” Editor Kate Betts will reportedly stay on with Time while four other staffers were let go. It’s sad news as we recently saw a Time magazine exhibition as part of the Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival and had new found appreciation for the title who gave us a more serious insight into fashion through their business journalism style.
