How long does it take for a team of designers to come up with the must-have best-fitting denim around? A year and a half. That is reportedly how long it took Gap’s Patrick Robinson and his team to scour the world for the best denim out there. So I’d like to introduce you to Gap’s 1969 Premium Jeans, named after the year Gap debuted as a jeans shop in San Francisco.
“Denim is so personal and these days it can be styled for just about any occasion – to the office, on a first date or for a special event,” said Robinson, Gap’s EVP of Design in the release.
“Our goal in reengineering our denim was to create a range of styles that were cool, sexy and relevant for right now. Every style tells a story and there’s a fit for everyone – we created great fitting jeans that really complement and accentuate different body types.”
The stand out jean is the Always Skinny with its deconstructed patches. If you love the look or want to check out the five other styles visit the Gap website now – get in quick though, they’re offering $20 off the entire 1969 Premium Jeans range for a limited time.
