If you’re a keen follower of fashion, then no doubt you are eagerly anticipating the general release of The September Issue, the “frockumentary” that takes viewers behind the scenes of the making of Vogue.
RJ Culter’s documentary about the making of US Vogue‘s September 2007 issue gives viewers a fascinating insight into how the people in Vogue are played like a game of chess to make the magazine one of the most successful fashion magazines in the world.
We managed to catch the Australian premier of The September Issue earlier this month (which was cleverly tied in with the launch of Rosemount’s Sydney Fashion Festival) and it is definitely worth watching. Pre-order your tickets as soon as they are available – this is one documentary you will want to watch over and over.
Watch the trailer above, you’ll be hooked – we might even have to hoof it to a cinema to watch it again. Check out IMDB for release dates this September 2009 in your country.
