Australian brands are using Twitter to reach out to fashion fans – who want free stuff.
Earlier this month Levis launched a campaign called iSpyLevis, and all you have to do is follow @iSpyLevis on Twitter, figure out where they are in Sydney, Melbourne or Wellington (New Zealand) through their cryptic tweets and TwitPics, find them and you will win a pair of Levis jeans or a gift voucher.
So what’s the catch? Nothing! You just have to know your city and be the first there.
If free jeans aren’t your thing, Project Runway Australia are promoting the premier of Season Two and taking the opportunity to celebrate up and Australian designers. In yet another case of marco-polo, you just follow @ProjectRunwayOz on Twitter or become a fan of Project Runway Australia on Facebook and start the hunt when they say go!
With 1 – 4 items to be given away from until July 8th from the likes of Kirrily Johnston, The Cassette Society, Hussy, Shakuhachi Brent Wilson, Tom, Feiyue shoes, Brent Wilson and Kyotap – I’ll be joining the hunt. Though given my inability to track down the iSpyLevis tweeter (even when we were in the same room together 2 weeks ago), your treasure hunting skills may prove a little more well honed.
Good luck!
