Gwen Stefani must be one of the hardest working women in showbiz. Not only does she have a young son with hubby Gavin Rossdale, with another little rocker baby on the way, but she also has a solo career to attend to, her No Doubt band mates to please, her L.A.M.B. line and fragrance, and well, it seems the list goes on and on. But no matter how busy Stefani gets, she always seems ready for more, and so do her adoring fans.
It comes as no surprise then that the diva is getting set to launch her Harajuku Lovers fragrance in conjunction with her less expensive, more urban clothing and accessories line, Harajuku Lovers. But one scent for the line, would have been much to easy. Stefani instead chose to create not one, not two, but five separate mini perfumes inspired by her Japanese back up dancers, and one for herself of course.
Love is a sweet combination of rose and pink pomelo
Lil’ Angel is a more sugary concoction with a fun lollipop accord
Music dazzles with pear and wood notes
Baby is a powdery white musk scent
and G, for Gwen of course, is a fun and fruity fragrance combining jasmine and coconut
The scents are packaged in darling little dolls modeled after their respective namesakes, and at only $25 a pop for the 10ml bottle ($45 for the 20 ml), you can collect all five. But if you just can’t bring yourself to revisit your childhood, Stefani’s sophisticated floral L fragrance from her L.A.M.B. line should please any funky fashion lover.
