I love BCBG Max Azria, it’s pretty and romantic without going over the top – perfect ready to wear. Their Fall 2008/09 at New York Fashion Week followed the same formula as previous seasons: feminine, ruffled, pleats, cinched at the waist in an array of creams, pale pinks and purples and made from delicate fabrics. There were bigger ruffles along the neckline, with fabulous open backed dresses and the sweetest corset tops with sweetheart necklines.
There was reportedly a rather good mix of celebrities sitting at the Bryant Park front row too, with Christina Milian, Joss Stone, Tyson Beckford, and Ugly Betty star, Ana Ortiz, joining the Carine Roitfeld and her daughter Julia Restoin Roitfeld.
