British Vogue’s March 2008 issue is a record breaker. Kate Moss is on her 25th cover, and it is the biggest March issue ever for the fashion bible, coming in at a reported 430 pages with 282 devoted to ads.
The cover, photographed by Craig McDean features Moss in Dolce & Gabanna, with a rather artistic turn for a cover background. The one picture above right is said to be a mock up, with the one on the left being the real thing – we’ll have to wait for confirmation when the issue hits stands on Monday. Accompanying the cover, Moss also features in a 14 page editorial spread photographed by McDean inside the magazine.
“It’s a surprisingly big issue given the fluidity in the retail environment,” said the Vogue publisher, Stephen Quinn. “I gave my team a Churchillian talk the other morning which was, ‘Take no prisoners. Don’t get yourselves into a recession mood by thinking that there will be cuts.'”
Well what do you think of the (real) cover?

kate friggin’ moss again? YAWN.
it’s not like there are no other amazing british models they can use for their cover. there are plenty! kate moss is getting old and all wrinkly and above all, TIRED. next!
I am glad she does not appear on US Vogue because I am very tired of kate moss and there are new models with great personality to explore. We all pretty much know what kate is about already, get someone new British Vogue.
I don’t think she looks too good on the cover.
unless it’s Photoshop not doing its magic…
Kate Moss has finally had her day with the emergence of 21 year old British model Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley. She’s the smoking hot new Agent Provocateur model. All of Moss’s character, with 100 times more freshness.
