The Miss Sixty and Badgley Mischka spring summer 2008 shows could not be any more different.
On the Miss Sixty catwalk, the look was cool 70s disco, complete with prints, mini dresses, patent accessories, body suits and cute puff sleeves. Front row sat the likes of Hilary Swank, Clive Owen, Demi Moore, Mischa Barton, and Agent Provocatuer’s latest face, Maggie Gyllenhaal.
The Badgley Mischka collection seemed to extend from their latest addition to the BM brand – swim wear (which showed at the recent Miami Swim 2008 fashion week). No doubt the idea of a spring summer resort chic themed show extended from that experience as the pieces looked like they were for the girls who visited 5 star resorts and lounged around all day to party all night.
Crisp jackets, high waisted pants, shirts and dresses came out, all accessorised with bangles and big floppy hats. The of course the pieces that stylists and celebrities adore – the slinky floor length gowns for the red carpet ladies.So of course sitting front row, in head to toe Badgley Mischka, was their latest face, Teri Hatcher.
