He’s one of Britain’s hottest fashion designers, and she’s one of Hollywood’s perennial starlets, and together Giles Deacon and Drew Barrymore are working together for Britain’s high street chain stores, New Look.
In less than 2 days, the Giles Deacon ‘Gold’ collection for New Look is set to hit stores. The 35-piece collection will consist of skinny jeans with gold embroidery, sequined cotton minidresses, tulip hemmed skirts, silk tunics with vivid prints, fully lined sateen coats, and some of the most fabulous accessories, such as tiger necklaces, diamante brooches and oversized sunglasses,
Word has it Deacon managed to talk Drew into modeling the collection when they ran into each other n a lift. “Despite her Hollywood associations, she is ballsy and has a playful ‘child-woman’ appeal,” says Deacon. Adds a New Look representative: “She always looks like she’s having a good time.”
The Giles Gold collection will be in New Look stores this Wednesday 13 March. Prices range from £4 to £60 with sizes ranging from 8-18.
