So Diane von Furstenberg designed an outfit for Barbie, along with Badgley Mischka and Carolina Herrera. Now Hilary Duff has gotten in to the act as well but taking it one step further – Mattel have created a Red Carpet Glam Hilary Duff doll.
Hilary collaborated with Mattel to design collection of eleven outfits for the pint-sized doll, including denim pieces, accessories and faux fur. The collection is divided into two categories to “reflect Hilary’s personal style”: sweet and rocker.
I am a little too old to be playing with Barbie’s, even though a Mattel rep says the actor/singer and Barbie are “great role models to girls and the perfect design duo. Not only are they two of the most stylish entertainers, actors and fashion designers, but they also show girls there are no limits to what they can do.”
