Christina Aguilera kicked off the Fashion Rocks concert on Thursday night with a piano duet with Sir Elton John who also curated this year’s event at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.
Unofficially kicking off New York’s Fall Fashion Week, stars like Christina Aguilera, Elton John, Jay-Z, Beyonce, the Pussycat Dolls, Bon Jovi, Rihanna, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Jamie Foxx, the Black Eyed Peas, Elton John, Nelly Furtado, Scissor Sisters and a handful of other star performers dazzled on stage for fashion and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
The red carpet was filled with designers, magazine editors, musicians and pop stars that included the likes of Eva Mendes, Rachel Bilson, Carmen Electra and Eve.

From the photos online already, Beyonce looked rather silly in her banana skirt and I would have loved to see the duet between Elton John and Christina Aguilera.
