Gotta love FashionWeekDaily.com. They were the first ones to announce that Target’s next ‘Go International’ designer will be Behnaz Sarafpour (pronounced be-NAHZ saraf-POUR according to the people at the FashionSpot).
This is the fourth collaboration Target has done with major designers as part of their Go International collections. And they were all very successful, the clothes designed by Luella Bartley, Tara Jarmon and currently Paul & Joe have flown out the door.
It was thought that the next to follow them was the team behind Proenza Schouler, but I’m not complaining! The line by Behnaz Sarafpour for Target Go International is due in stores in November, but will be unvealed to the fashion media on July 18.
Check out her Fall 2006 collection just to give your fashion taste buds a bit of a sample of what’s to come.
P.S. Apparently Chloe are close to announcing a replacement for Phoebe Philo, with the new designer making his/her debut as early as October for the spring 2007 collection…
I am starting to love target!!! I cant wai to see it in the stores… keep up the good job with the fashion posting. We all enjoy it
oooooooh…can’t wait! I’ve always loved Target, but since they came out with their GO International projects, I love the store even more!
