The Karen Walker empire is expanding once again.
It all started once upon a time, not too long ago, with tailored women’s wear for the “anti it girl”. Then jewellery collection followed, as well as eyewear and menswear.
Soon the much adored New Zealand designer got together with fellow iconic New Zealand brand Swanndri and designed a much anticipated collection of woolen knitwear, soft cashmere scarves, cotton shirts and T-shirts, coats and jackets for women and men.
That was soon followed by Karen Walker Paints.
Now there is news that Boots, a British pharmacy, and Karen Walker will be launching a range of limited edition of make-up. It will include eye creams – with names like Tigerlily Wonderland, White Rabbit, and Creamcake – with plans for blushes and compacts to follow.
Word is that it will be available in Sydney stores such as Capital L, Incu and Pretty Dog.
