Dolce & Gabbana are known for their flair for the dramatic and it oozes out of their video teaser for their new Animalier makeup collection.
Launching in time for the Northern Hemisphere Summer 2011 the Dolce & Gabbana Makeup Animalier collection was collaboration between the fashion brand and makeup guru Pat McGrath and sees the launch of a lust-worthy limited edition bronzing powder with the signature Dolce & Gabbana animal print on the powder.
“What I especially love about the Animalier collection is that it is so versatile – there are no rules because the palette is so compatible,” says Pat McGrath, “Whether I choose to emphasize the eyes – smokey eyes are always so fierce, so sexy – or the warm luscious red lips, the look is ultimately pulled together by the fantastic Animalier Bronzer. The bronzer has such an amazing texture – it feels so good – and it creates this fabulous sun-polished glow that is remarkably sensual and that encapsulates what summer means – passion, romance and shedding all inhibitions!”
I have yet to set my hands on pieces from the Dolce & Gabbana Make Up collection, but we definitely will be trying to snap up a Dolce & Gabbana Makeup’s Animalier bronzing powder (pictured below) – we expect the compact to retail at US$60+.
